The first edition of the Licensing Academy in 2011 was the capstone of a series of international workshops in Intellectual Property and Technology Commercialization that PIPRA organized with funding provided by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Subsequent editions of the “Academy” were only possible with the support of our generous sponsors and partners, who provided funding to offer scholarships for participants with limited resources coming from developing countries.
